Welcome to Year 4!
Our school motto is: “Tall Oaks from Little Acorns Grow” and all our classes are named after trees of the United Kingdom, many of which we have around our school field.
Our classes is called Chestnut.
The teacher is Mrs Anderson.
Mrs Beacham and Mrs Buckley will also teach and provide cover for your class teachers.

Autumn term 2022 in Year 4
In our Science topic on Sound we made our own guitars. We had to think about how we would change the pitch and volume of the sound that it would make.
In History we created our own Roman Cities using information about the different buildings and how they would lay the city out.
For D and T week Year 4 made torches using a simple circuit and switch.
In Maths we have been estimating and measuring different objects in class.
